Privacy policy

In short
Your settings and your finds stay in your browser. To sort posts, however, the extension sends their text to our server, which submits it to an artificial intelligence model. Nothing is kept. If you prefer, you can provide your own API key: posts then never pass through us at all.
Data controller: Sherpaa (legal notice), referred to below as “we” — contact@prosko.app.
1. The extension
No account, no telemetry, no usage statistics, no automatic error reports. The extension reads LinkedIn from your own session, without passing your credentials to anyone.
What stays on your machine
Your rules and keywords, the posts that were kept, the activity log, your API key if you provide one, and your webhook address if you configure one. The configuration export always excludes secrets. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything.
What is sent, and why
Sorting posts relies on an artificial intelligence model that does not run in your browser. When a post has to be assessed, the extension sends it to our server — hosted at Cloudflare, Inc. — which submits it to Anthropic PBC (United States). What is sent:
- the text of the post, truncated to 1,200 characters;
- the name and professional headline of its author, as publicly displayed on LinkedIn;
- the sentence describing your alert, which you wrote;
- a random installation identifier, used to count your quota and tied to no person;
- your activation key, if you are a subscriber.
This content is used solely to produce the “matches / does not match” verdict. Neither we nor Anthropic keep it, and it is not used to train any model. Your IP address is turned into a one-way fingerprint, with a salt renewed daily, to limit abuse; it is never stored in clear.
The authors of the posts analysed are not our users. The processing is limited to content they have made public, rests on the legitimate interest of the person carrying out their monitoring, and produces neither profiling nor retention. Anyone concerned may write to contact@prosko.app.
The alternative: if you enter your own API key in the settings, the extension talks directly to the provider you chose — Anthropic or OpenAI as of today. Posts then no longer pass through our servers, and that processing falls under your own contract with that provider, not ours.
The licence
If you are a subscriber, we keep your activation key, your Paddle subscription identifier, your email address, the plan chosen and the expiry date — for the duration of the subscription, then three years for accounting purposes. Your key is sent to you by email through Resend.
The other possible outbound traffic is what you configure yourself: your Slack or your Discord, where the extension sends the posts it kept directly, without going through us.
2. The website
No cookies. No analytics, no trackers. A single local storage
entry, ls-theme, remembers your choice between the light and dark
themes; it is never transmitted. The host keeps connection logs containing IP
addresses, for security purposes.
3. The website assistant
Your question goes through our intermediate server, hosted at Cloudflare, Inc., then to Anthropic PBC (United States), which writes the answer.
- Data: the text of your question and of the current conversation, your IP address.
- Purpose: answering visitors and limiting abuse.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Retention: we do not record the conversation; it disappears when you close the tab. The IP address is used transiently only.
- Transfers outside the EU: yes, to the United States, governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Do not write personal or confidential information to the assistant: it only answers questions about the product.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited, which processes payment and billing data. We only receive what is needed to manage the subscription and provide support — email address and licence status — and never has access to card details.
5. Who receives what

No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.
This list describes the recipients as of today. A change of analysis provider would be published here, with a new update date at the top of the page.
6. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, exercisable at contact@prosko.app. As regards the extension, we hold only what is described in section 1: your licence if you are a subscriber, and a random installation identifier. Your rules, your finds and your log stay on your machine, and uninstalling deletes them.
You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) — cnil.fr.
7. Changes
This policy may change if the product's behaviour changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
